NORTHEAST OHIO ANGLING is a fly fishing platform rooted in Great Lakes culture, original fly design, education, and outdoor storytelling. Built around life on the water, it shares creative work, real experiences, and a modern perspective on fly fishing throughout the world’s largest freshwater system.

I’m a writer, fly designer, and educator rooted in Great Lakes fly fishing culture. Through Northeast Ohio Angling, my work focuses on original fly design, written and visual storytelling, photography, and instructional experiences centered on life on the water throughout the region.
My work has appeared in publications including Flyfisherman, Flylords, The Drake, and American Fly Fishing Magazine, and in collaborative work with brands like G. Loomis, Trout Unlimited, Ahrex, Fulling Mill, Peak Fishing, Scientific Anglers, Dr. Slick, and Cheeky Fishing. In 2026, I signed with RIO as a Signature Tyer, with five original fly patterns scheduled for release in the company’s 2027 catalog.
