Matt Redmond

Matt is a Great Lakes-based angler, writer, photographer, fly tyer, and educator. Through Northeast Ohio Angling, his work focuses on original fly design, editorial storytelling, and instructional experiences centered on life on the water throughout the Midwest and beyond.

His work has appeared in Flyfisherman, Flylords, The Drake, and American Fly Fishing Magazine in addition to blogs for brands like Ahrex, Fulling Mill, and Cheeky Fishing. He serves on the Pro Teams for Dr. Slick and Peak Fishing, is a Pro Ambassador for Bajio Sunglasses, and a Signature Tyer for RIO Products with five original fly patterns scheduled for release in 2027.
