The Bass Nut is a modern take on Russ Maddin’s famous Circus Peanut. Its bulkier body is comprised of tapered brush material, and its superb wiggle is thanks to a shanked connection in between the two hooks. This fly is an exceptional river smallmouth pattern - it swims, dives, and pauses over submerged structure on intermediate and floating lines. Ahrex TP610 hooks are used in sizes 1 and 2 for this fly.
